At FairBid, Sellers can create free online auctions
by uploading their auction descriptions & pictures directly to the website.
FairBid also provides a venue where Buyers are not charged for the privilege of buying at auction.
Buyers on FairBid pay NO BUYERS FEES.
At the close of an auction, the highest bidder and the Seller will receive an email with each other's contact details.The Buyer and the seller should then contact each to arrange payment and pickup of the auctioned item based on the time frames outlined on the bid details page.
Once payment has been received, the Buyer will be granted permission to pick up the auctioned items.
No fees attached and no small print with hidden surprise fees. Free means free!
FairBid Plus
Free is great, but we also understand that stress free can be even better, which is why Fairbid plus is available to assist with the disposition of your assets on your behalf. FairBid Plus was created for those of you out there that do not have enough time in the day to upload your own auctions.
FairBid Plus acts as your agents and facilitates the transaction from the taking of the pictures, hiring of an inspector, posting of an auction and the marketing of that auction, through processing of the payments, to finally the picking up of the equipment. This added service is done for an unheard of low percentage charged to the seller. Buyers in FairBid Plus Auctions will still pay no buyers fees to encourage bidding.

How to Buy
REGISTER
Buyers must register with FairBid before they are authorized to bid on items. Registration is free and creating an account allows you to add items to your watch list, edit preferences, post your own items, and place bids.
SEARCHING FOR ITEMS ON FAIRBID
Once you locate items of interest, you can start bidding or add them to your watch list. Your watch list is accessible through your "My Profile" section once you have registered and logged into FairBid.
BIDDING
FairBid Items can be won in four different ways:
Bid Exactly allows you to place a one-time bid of a definite amount. You will receive an email if another user outbids you for that item. At that time, you can log back into the website and choose to enter a higher bid. E-mail notifications will not be sent for the last hour of the auction.
Auto Bid gives FairBid permission to automatically increase your bid when someone outbids you, up to your maximum bid amount. Auto Bid saves you time and effort by doing the bidding for you.

Buy it Now allows you to purchase the auctioned item for a predetermined set price. Not all listings will have Buy it Now options, but if available, it does it offer an immediate purchase of the listed item.
Make Offer allows you to send a offer to the seller on their material, if the seller accepts your offer they will contact you directly.
SEND PAYMENT & ARRANGE PICKUP
At the close of an listing, the highest bidder and the Seller will receive an email with each other's contact details. The Buyer and the Seller should then contact each other to arrange payment and pickup of the won item based on the preset time frames and payment options outlined on the bid details page.

How to Sell
Register
Sellers must register with Fairbid before they are authorized to post items. Registration is free, takes about a minute, and creating an account allows you to post items and edit preferences. Once you receive your confirmation email, Sellers are able to login and start posting items.
Post New Item
Once you have logged into your account, new listings can be created by clicking on the Post New Auction Link in the upper right corner of the site.
Some of the customization options Fairbid offers the seller are:
- Choose a Buy It Now, Bid auction or Make Offer
- Choose both Buy It Now and Bid auction format
- Set reserve price
- Set pickup/transportation options
- Create sellers terms
- Choose forms of payment seller will accept
- Optional inspections
Sellers can then enter item details and upload pictures directly onto the website. After submitting your listings, a Fairbid representative will review your listing and send you a confirmation email when the listing is approved and posted.

Now that your listing is live, all you have to do is sit back and wait for the listing period to close.
Receive Payment
